Samsung unveils affordable 5G phone, bracelet and tablet

Due to Covid, this year's Samsung conference was held entirely virtually. Baptized Life Unstoppable, Samsung's presentation was an opportunity to discover numerous products adapted to the requirements of 2020, starting with 5G.

THE Galaxy A42 5G is a mid-range smartphone from the Galaxy A family (A20, A30, A40 etc.). Its 6.6-inch Super Amoled screen benefits from Full HD+ definition. It has four photo sensors and a long-lasting battery. The technical details (RAM, processor, storage, etc.) are not yet known, but its price is. This new phone should be available in November for 379 euros. Note that one of the major advantages of the telephone depends on the deployment of 5G antennas in France. The fifth generation of mobile telephony standards will, among other things, greatly accelerate speeds and therefore download times.

On the tablet side, the Galaxy Tab A7 is also positioned in the mid-range with a price of 229 euros in its WiFi version and 289 euros in its 4G version. It has a long-lasting battery, a 10.4-inch TFT LCD screen and four Dolby Atmos speakers.

Finally, Samsung gave details on the connected bracelet Galaxy Fit2, which can boast of having almost 15 days of autonomy. Features include analysis of sleep quality, automatic detection of five distinct physical activities, measurement of heart rate and calories burned. The price at the launch of the bracelet, in October, will be 49.99 euros.
