Xbox is not done announcing games and unveils a new conference

Xbox's summer announcements weren't enough for you? Then Microsoft has some good news for you. The festivities will continue at the end of September with the organization of a live conference from Tokyo Game Show on Thursday, September 26. The announcements will be broadcast at 12:00 p.m. (French time) on the various Xbox France channels, such as the manufacturer's official Twitch account. Last June, the Redmond firm already surprised us with major revelations, such as a new trailer for Fablethe announcement of Doom: The Dark Ages or even a first glimpse of Life is Strange: Double Exposure.

Launching a second conference only four months after the previous one suggests that Microsoft still has plenty to tell us. But what should we expect? While many rumors indicate an imminent State of Play headlined by the announcement of the PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox will have to pull out all the stops to keep its head high. The reveal of a new console seems unlikely for the American manufacturer at the Tokyo Game Show, but it seems to have more than one trick up its sleeve according to its latest press release.

Japanese games, but not only

For its upcoming presentation, Microsoft promises to highlight the titles of its partners “mainly based in Japan and across Asia including some local productions that will join the ranks of the Xbox Game Pass. But that's not all. Players looking for announcements about the Redmond firm's franchises can also look forward to discovering the latest from Xbox Studios, Activision, Blizzard Entertainment and Bethesda.

Hopefully, this conference will be the scene of some major revelations. Indeed, The manufacturer has yet to establish certain release dates, including that ofIndiana Jones and the Ancient Circle still planned for the end of the year. Now that the reboot of Fable is officially scheduled for 2025, it is also not impossible that a new trailer will slip into the Japanese event. See you in three weeks to find out for sure. September 26 promises to be a busy day for gamers, since this day will also mark the launch of the mobile version of Balatro that we expected more.
