Womanizer Blend review: finally a sex toy with effective dual stimulation

Womanizer has never been particularly good at double stimulation. After an Inside Out that looked like a draft in 2018, the sextech giant largely made up for it in 2022, by marketing its Duo 2, a war machine particularly effective, but also very rigid. The dual stimulator convinced us at the time of its release, but its use quickly proved tedious, especially when handling its six buttons. With its (too) imposing design and its control panel lying outside, the sex toy ended up in a drawer of our bedside table, with the promise of never coming out again.

Two years later, the brand surprises us with its Blend, an (even) improved version of its dual stimulation toy. New number for a decidedly sensitive subject at Womanizer: 20 years exactly after the revolution of Pleasure Air Technology, can the manufacturer finally establish itself on the market of dual stimulation ?

Design and ergonomics: smaller, more beautiful

First observation when discovering the Womanizer Blend, and not the least: the brand's new double sex toy is much less imposing than its elders. Where the Duo 2 seemed to revel in overkill, the Blend has much more modest dimensions, and reaffirms its lineage. The external part of the sex toy is smaller, and its shapes are more tapered. At first glance, the resemblance to the Liberty 2 is obvious. Only the all-silicone coating and the colors change.

On the insertable part, the Blend has dimensions similar to those of the Duo 2, with a diameter of 2.5 cm and 11 cm in length. If the size does not change, the comfort is largely revised upwards: much more flexible and curved than its predecessor, the new Womanizer toy marks a nice evolution compared to its predecessor, with plastic that was far too rigid. Without adapting perfectly to our morphology, positioning is less tedious, and allows direct contact between the clitoral glans and the pulsed air stimulation tip. Once in place, the Blend has the advantage of no longer moving, which allows it to be used hands-free.

As is the norm at Womanizer, the brand's new sex toy also benefits from IPX7 waterproof certification, which allows it to be used underwater, and greatly facilitates cleaning after use. Delivered in compact and elegant packaging, the Blend follows the graphic overhaul begun with the Womanizer Liberty 2 and with the Womanizer Next, released at the beginning of 2024. Exit plastic, the brand has opted for laminated cardboard and colors more summery.

On the other hand, we regret that the sex toy is deprived of its woven charging cable (which has become the standard on high-end models since the marketing of the Premium Eco in 2021), and its storage pouch.

Simplicity is good too

Halfway between a premium model and a mid-range, the Womanizer Blend struggles to find its place in the manufacturer's catalog. However, it is also on this point that the double stimulator succeeds in doing well. The sex toy makes the intelligent choice of offering a high-end, all-silicone model, for a relatively low price, less than 130 €. Obviously, the sex toy is not within everyone's reach, but it is clear that it remains much more affordable than its main competitor, the Lelo Enigma (€259 in its Wave version, released at the end of the year). last year), or that its predecessor the Duo 2, sold for €209 at the time of its release.

At this price, the Blend inevitably makes some concessions: on the accessories side, the brand has reduced expenses to a minimumby removing the storage pouch and the traditional replacement tip (which allows you to adapt the depth of stimulation according to your preferences), the new Womanizer toy plays the minimalist card.

This observation is also reflected in the technical sheet of the sex toy: on the front panel, there are three control buttons that are rather intuitive to use. Two buttons ➕ and ➖ allow you to turn the device on and off, then navigate between the eight available pulsed air stimulation modes. A little further down, a single button controls the vibration of the insertable branch. By pressing it, it is possible to turn off the motor, or to choose between the six modes and intensities offered.

Use and autonomy

The good idea of ​​Womanizer lies in the (rare) possibility of being able to control both motors independently of each other. If you don't like the internal vibrations, it is entirely possible to deactivate the option by holding down the dedicated button for a few seconds. Note that the opposite is possible, but you have to be clever: the pulsed air stimulation motor must necessarily be turned on first, then lowered to level 0 to benefit only from the vibrating motor. On the market, few dual stimulators can boast of this option, like the Coco de Puissante, which was one of the first to offer the functionality.

In terms of power, the Blend offers eight contactless intensity levels, and three levels of vibration intensity, accompanied by three additional patterns at the maximum level. The spectrum is inevitably less important than on the Womanizer Premium 2 or the Next, which have 14, but offers a correct balance in terms of stimulation, with a power between 60 and 95 Hz. Concretely, the bottoms are too high, but the tops very suitable. No surprise at this level, the new sex toy from Womanizer is placed right halfway between the Premium 2 and the Liberty 3, with a significantly less restricted power range, but quite sufficient for rapid orgasms, and without periods. refractory.

The advantage of contactless

On the other hand, it does not benefit from any signature technology apart from Pleasure Air Technology. No Afterglow, no Autopilot or Smart Silence… we would have appreciated a little more from a toy sold for almost €130, it's a shame. In terms of noise too, the Blend is positioned in the high average of its category with 68 dB at full power, far exceeding the small revolution of the Womanizer Next, which peaked at only 59 dB.

In use, the Blend is quite pleasant to use. Its all-silicone body and its flexibility constitute undeniable assets, and its power is like what the brand usually offers: controlled and balanced. At full power, the orgasmer measures 2h16 of autonomywhich is one hour more than the brand promises.

The sex toy, however, does not have any replacement head. As the Blend tip is not compatible with any other model of the brand, you will have to go to the checkout if you lose or damage yours. Womanizer should quickly market replacement accessories, at around ten euros for a pack of three, as is already the case with other models.

Price and availability

Launched this May 28, 2024, the Womanizer Blend is available in three colors, and sold for €129 on the brand's official website. A very low price compared to the sex toys usually sold under the sextech giant's brand.
