The new Game of Thrones spin-off is recruiting at Black Mirror
HBO is not going to let its golden goose sleep for very long. While the channel is due to return to Westeros next June, another project evolving in the universe of George RR Martin is preparing to emerge. Among all the spin-offs announced in development, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is the only one to have officially obtained the green light. Last April, the Warner Bros subsidiary even recruited these two headlinersPeter Claffey and Dexter Sol Ansell will respectively embody Dunk and Egg. If the content of this series is not really a mystery – it is inspired by several short stories written by the American novelist – the contours of the project still remained very vague. Although a launch on our screens is planned for 2025no director was yet attached to the project.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Game Of Thrones is recruiting at Black Mirror to bring to life the first episodes of this new production. It is at Owen Harris who will be responsible for achieving the three introductory chapters, of this season which will include six. Less time consuming than House of the Dragon And Game Of Thronesthe latest in the franchise draws its inspiration from works less thick than the saga of Iron Throne. Between the buddy-movie and the initiatory story, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms already promises to cut through the political and bloody intrigues of House of the Dragon. The series should nevertheless be part of pure tradition Game Of Thronesand don't skimp on the twists and heartbreaking scenes.
The appointment is therefore made for the year 2025 with this production which should be worth a look. From here, fans of dark fantasy can discover what the future holds for the Targaryen dynasty, as the clash between the Greens and Blacks becomes more intense.
