Samsung unveils incredible wireless screen technology: The Link

The living room CES 2024 is currently taking place in Las Vegas until January 12, delighting fans of innovation and new technology. If this year's edition is largely marked by a wave of AI, artificial intelligence does not go it alone. Other technologies came to surprise visitors.

Samsung, always faithful to the post during this flagship tech event, came to bring its share of new features. Among the surprises of this edition, the brand teased a mysterious new technology. Without really going into details, Samsung is unveiling a new type of screen called The Link.

These are the 4K LED monitors 32described as super thin and light to use the terms of the South Korean giant, but above all, they can connect to each other via a wireless system. With these new monitors, the brand would try to solve incompatibility challenges in multi-monitor setups.

Create the perfect multi-monitor setup

Samsung explains that it would use Pogo pins (spring connectors) to create the “perfect” multi-monitor setup. The company also mentions premium visual and audio specifications as well as smart features for this new monitor.

According to the American tech webzine Digital Trends, Samsung has removed the mention of the screen connection system via Pogo pins from its description. The brand now describes The Link as a type of monitor that can connect to each other “without a separate cable”.

Samsung remains particularly mysterious about this new product and will reveal more details about the product (release date, price, etc.) later in the year.
