One of the most anticipated games of the year is out today, don't miss it!
Since its announcement at the 2022 Devolver Digital Showcase, The Plucky Squire – now known as The Valiant Little Page in our green lands – is a title that makes gamers dream. By promising an adventure halfway between a children's story book and the real world, all carried by magnificent visuals, this gem from the studio All Possible Futures has been keeping us in suspense for two years now. After a postponement from 2023 to 2024, The wait ends today with the title launching on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.
From initial feedback, it seems that The Valiant Little Page ticks all the boxes of a new video game success. With its top-notch artistic direction (signed James Turner) and its puzzles as intelligent and exciting as those of the famous It Takes Twothis indie gem could well enter the race for game of the year. Fully translated and dubbed in 11 languages including French, a large part of the charm of this title seems to reside in the proposed narration.

Like an interactive audio book, this adventure is accompanied by the gentle voice of a narrator who does not lack humor. The first screenshots in French suggested a masterful translation and controllers in hand, this impression seems to be confirmed. As a reminder, The Valiant Little Page is available in a digital version for only €29.99. The physical version still requires a little patience, with a launch planned for Switch and PS5 on February 21. If you're still hesitant to buy this title, you can play it at no extra cost starting today.
Access included in PlayStation Plus
Sony's gaming subscription may struggle to compete with the Game Pass catalog, but sometimes some nice surprises find their way in. After the day one inclusion of Harry Potter Quidditch Champions In the monthly PlayStation Plus selection, it's the turn of the Vaillant Petit Page to play the stars. This new nugget is now available to PS Plus Extra and Premium members, at no extra cost.
Unfortunately, this means that the title published by Devolver Digital is part of the temporary catalog of the subscription, like Stray which ended up leaving the selection a year after its launch. So don't hesitate to embark on the adventure now to avoid any unpleasant surprises.
