Netflix is ​​indeed going to produce a Ghostbusters series!

Netflix continues to invest in popular franchises with the announcement of the production of a new animated series Ghostbusters. The series, which will be produced by Sony Pictures Animation, is a continuation of the franchise's recent cinematic successes. Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan, key figures behind the latest films Ghostbusters: Legacy And Ghostbusters: The Ice Threatwill once again be involved as executive producers.

The project, originally announced in 2022, has now gained momentum with the arrival of Elliott Kalan as head writer and executive producer. Known for his work on The Daily Show Along with Jon Stewart, he brings with him a solid background in humorous and satirical writing, as well as a passion for fantastical stories.
